A good day out aboard the Sea Juicer, skippered by Rob Hickin out of Portsmouth,
Plenty of Bream and Smoothounds, plus the usual dogfish and pouting.
Best Smoothound on the day was this nice 12lb plus hound for first timer Phil, who also finished the day with a nice Undulate ray.

April 23rd, out on Barry Handley's Malaki from Hayling Island, a good day out, lovely weather, and although it was hard work, some really nice fish came aboard, including my PB pollack of 15-1-0

Have just spoken to Rob, and weather permitting, we will be going offshore next Wednesday, for spurdogs and bullhuss, so additional bait requirements will be mackerel and maybe herring which sometimes work, I will be speaking to Rob again at the weekend, and will know more then, I am prepared to order mackerel but will need to know how much you want, I will phone around after talking to Rob, squid will be provided for you. Mackerel can be paid for on the day, talk to you all soon.
Mackerel has now been ordered.

Sunday 26th March mid channel wrecking, on Malaki, Hayling Island,12 hour trip, fully booked (cancelled)
Sunday 23rd April mid channel wrecking trip, on Malaki, Hayling Island,12 hours, fully booked
Sunday 21st May, fully booked
Sunday 18th June, fully booked
Sunday 16th July 12 hour trip from  Hayling, tope, smoothounds etc. 3 places left
Wednesday 30th August 12 hour trip from Hayling, conger, ling, Pollack. fully booked
Sunday 1st October 12 hour mid channel from Hayling, fully booked
Sunday 26th November, Hayling, Cod, Whiting, 3 places left
Sunday 10th December, Portsmouth, Cod, Whiting, 3 places left

Charter trips / Charter trip rules

1: Your place is not reserved until your deposit has been paid.
2: Deposit is 50% of the basic cost not including bait or tackle hire, and is non-refundable unless you can find a replacement.
3. Balance must be paid by the due date, normally 8 weeks before the trip, if you have not paid the balance by this date, your place will be forfeited. If you cancel after this date, the full amount is still payable.
4: While on the boat you must also adhere to any of the skipper’s rules put in place, failure to follow the skipper’s rules, could result in the boat returning to port with no refund.
5: If the trip is cancelled by the skipper, you would be entitled to a full refund, or a new date will be booked. If you cannot make the new date, you will be entitled to a refund.
6: If you are travelling in someone else’s vehicle, please chip in with fuel and parking cost’s

Here we go again, not allowed to take any Bass, from 1st January to 30th June.
From 1st July, only allowed to take one, providing it meets the minimum size, of 42cm
